What to expect during a consultation

The purpose of the consultation is for us to get a sense of whether we are a good fit to work together, as well as to answer any questions or concerns you might have.

About Consultations
They are complimentary - there is no charge for you.
Try to set aside about 20 minutes for the consultation.
It helps to book a call. You can book a call online, by email, by phone or text (778 321 3807) to set it up.
Consultations are usually by phone, but can also be done by video - just ask.

A couple of things you might want to consider
Whether you prefer to have in person or online appointments, or a mix of both.
How often you might want to have appointments (weekly, every two weeks, monthly, as needed). It’s not a problem if you’re not sure, this is something we can explore together.

The process

1.

I’ll invite you to share a bit about why you are looking for a therapist and if there are specific issues or concerns you’d like to address in therapy.

3.

You’ll have a chance to ask about any additional questions or concerns that we might not have already covered.

2.

I also might ask some additional questions to help me get a sense of if what you share with me lines up with the kind of work I do. If I feel there are also other professionals who might be able to help you, we can explore putting you in touch with them as well.

4.

At the end of the call we can either book a first appointment, or you can take some time to decide what you’d like to do next.
